The Beach Yard operates on a revenue-sharing model with the City of Stamford, helping fund: Increased beach patrols & safety enforcement. Beautification & cleanup efforts. Long-term revitalization of Cummings Beach as a local gem and regional destination.

Dockside Village At The Beach Yard

Dockside Village is the heart of The Beach Yard — a lively cluster of retrofitted shipping containers transformed into iconic food, beverage, and retail destinations.

With the marina as a backdrop and nautical rope-lined walkways guiding guests along the waterfront, Dockside Village brings together Stamford’s heritage, coastal charm, and vibrant new energy.

This Summer we showcased the untapped potential of Cummings Beach with our Summer Pop-Up event featuring two days filled with beachside fun and activities for all ages that included steel drum performances, face painting, seashell painting, delicious food trucks and tiki bar.

The Fun In The Sun Pop-Up was all about great vibes, great people and making the beach the spot to be.
